YEW BOW

Robin Hood's Noble Phantasm is a crossbow carved from a yew tree, a highly toxic plant which held great significance to the Druids of times past as a path to the afterlife. While not particularly strong as a weapon, its true power manifests itself when its name is invoked while attacking a poisoned target. Upon making contact, it spawns a yew tree that tangles up the target - then just as quickly withers and dies, amplifying the effect of the poison in their body in the process.

This is the bow from which Robin's final arrow was fired, signifying his final resting place beneath the very tree he used to craft his beloved weapon. It is because of this that it gained enough power to be used as a Noble Phantasm. When Robin utilizes its ability to produce a thick poisonous fog, the source of the poison takes the form of a yew with an arrow stuck in its roots - his gravesite in Sherwood Forest.
FACELESS KING

A second Noble Phantasm, also referred to as May King. His trademark cloak can make the wearer completely vanish, right down to eliminating the scents and sounds they produce. It's considered the superior tool to Robin's Yew Bow, as it essentially allows him to attack from anywhere without being discovered. Once he initiates an attack, it is possible to discern that one is being followed, but his exact location can't be determined. It can be said that this Noble Phantasm truly encompasses the ability to blend into one's surroundings.

Because the power comes from the cloak itself, it's possible to hand it off to others and have them use it.

INFORMATION

While there was certainly a Robin Hood used as a base for this Heroic Spirit, this person is not him. Rather, he's one in a string of young men who discarded their names and took up this one. Whatever his name was before he was Robin Hood has been lost to time, so it can be said he has no real identity. He was raised by a solitary Druid in the outskirts of a village in Nottingham, England, but his father died while Robin was still young, so he had to fend for himself. Because of his ability to speak to the fairies in the forest, he was an outcast from village society; they believed him to be possessed.

Though he held no love for the villagers, he didn't hate them, either, so when the tyrannical lord of the kingdom began to encroach on their lives and freedoms, Robin took up an identity that didn't belong to him out of a sense of deep obligation. It wasn't that he wanted to be a hero; on the contrary, it was almost against his own will that he began to fight. He'd only ever wanted a simple, quiet life, but he couldn't simply stand there and do nothing. Despite his lack of attachment to the people around him, he couldn't ignore the part of his personality that clamored for justice. And so he became the village's protector, relying on cheap tactics and dirty tricks to steal resources and assassinate anyone who'd threaten their idyllic peace.

His pragmatic nature meant he was able to rationalize these tactics, but from a personal viewpoint, he hated them, and the weakness that forced his hand into using them in the first place. A common shared trait among everyone who takes up the mantle of Robin Hood is some form of self-hatred, and in this incarnation's case, it resides in his hatred for his own methods. There's no value in pride, because pride isn't what helps you win. Nor is there any value in killing or stealing, what his own forms of "winning" entailed. Everything he did after throwing away his name was despicable, so he was unable to find anything in his life that he was proud of.

Robin's illicit activities only resulted in more ire focused on the village, and the people quickly turned against him, saying they had nothing to do with the beast who turned Sherwood Forest into his personal hunting ground. In this way, they avoided being punished for Robin's vigilante activities. In spite of this betrayal, he continued to fight for their sake for almost two years, but it's impossible for one, solitary man to fight off an army forever, and he was eventually caught and killed. With his last bit of strength, he fired one final arrow into the sky and asked he be buried wherever it landed. His request was fulfilled, and he and his crossbow were both placed to rest under the roots of a yew tree. The young man who became Robin Hood died anonymous and unthanked for his hard work, and his selfless actions - even if they were carried out through dishonest methods - defined him as a "hero."

That would have been the end of it, were it not for the Moon Cell initiating its own Holy Grail War. Robin Hood was one of 128 Servants summoned for this purpose, paired with a man named Dan Blackmore. Blackmore, a rigid and honorable person, was a bad match for his Servant who was only good at dishonorable and graceless fighting. They clashed at every opportunity, and most of Robin's most useful assets were restricted by his own Master, who saw no value in winning if they did it using methods he didn't approve of. Robin attempted to kill each of his opponents before their scheduled fight, and while he eliminated the first with some degree of success, Blackmore expressly forbade him from doing it again in the second round.

Their second opponent was Hakuno Kishinami, an unassuming, plain person with no real standout qualities to speak of - an AI that had only just achieved sapience. No matter how one looked at it, Blackmore was the superior Master, with years of experience as a soldier at his disposal, so it was expected that he and his Servant would make quick work of Hakuno. However, the discord between the two of them resulted in Blackmore utilizing a Command Seal to restrict Robin's secondary Noble Phantasm, more or less forcing him to engage in a fair fight at the scheduled time.

As expected, someone who only knew how to kill people from the shadows was hopeless in a straightforward duel, and Blackmore and Robin were quickly eliminated. But it wasn't a complete waste of time; on the contrary, despite his efforts amounting in failure, he was happy he was able to act a little bit like a knight, something he'd been unable to do until then. For that moment, Robin Hood and the nameless man he used to be found peace with each other.
